OK, the tent sets up easy, really easy. I didn't bother with the directions - they mostly consisted of "Don't lose the tent bag..." It's really a no-brainer. Simply pop the single forked tent pole together, stick the single end into the narrow end (foot end) of the tent, put the forked ends into the grommets on the end with the door, snap the hooks over the poles, and voila! It's a tent - almost. It is free-standing, but I highly advise using the stakes to pull it into tight shape and to keep it from unexpectedly turning into a very expensive kite.

Oh yeah, the stakes. If they were made of wood, rather than aliminum, you could use 'em to kill vampires. They're big, but still are reasonably light. I'm gonna opt for a new set of the titanium pegs that Hik'n Ron gave me for my Zoid. That'll drop a few more ounces off of the already reasonable 3lbs. and 15 ounces.
