Here you can see the shattered rock that the 'trail' winds its way through to the top of Table Mountain. It's not a good place to be when lightning is dancing from peak to peak.

I stopped by the snowbank in this photo to snap a few shots of some pika (bottom photo) that were busy building haystacks to carry them through the winter months. Unfortunately, I had left my spare film in the truck, so I reckon I'll have to plan another trip to Table Mountain to get some shots of the Cathedral Group and Hurricane Pass... aw shucks!
