The entire group soon disappeared over the ridge into the geyser basin, leaving the other dejected bull behind. For over an hour, I watched as he slowly worked his way south across the big meadows, constantly stopping to turn and bugle weak challenges to the victorious bull.

I sat by the lakeshore, sipping my morning coffee and feeling like a very happy camper indeed.
