Above, Paul heads for shore at Eagle Creek after paddling over from the Cable Cove landing on the south side of the lake. The large boulder on shore, and in the photo below with Paul standing atop it, is our water meter - the high water mark shows clearly on the huge stone. On a couple of rare occasions, the lake was high enough for me to paddle over the top of the boulder, but that's a rare occurrence.

You pass a few rough campsites on the way into the main campsite, but they're overused by motorcraft and are often trash-strewn and fly-blown.
